18-year-old dies after Tipperary crash

The 18-year-old died two days after the car he was driving hit a ditch.

AN 18-YEAR-OLD MAN has died two days after he was involved in a serious crash in Nenagh in Tipperary.

The teenager was seriously injured when the car he was driving hit a ditch at Islandbawn at around 11.40pm on Monday night.

He was brought to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital for treatment but died on Wednesday.

Gardaí this evening called for anyone with any information about the crash to contact Nenagh Garda station on 067 50450, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
