Motorcyclist (32) killed in single-vehicle crash

The man was pronounced dead at scene.

A 32-YEAR-OLD man has died after his motorbike crashed on the Nenagh Bypass last night.

It happened at around 9.20pm on the N52, between the Tullaheady and the Portroe roundabouts, according to gardaí.

The man was pronounced dead at scene. His body has been removed to the mortuary in Limerick, where a post-mortem is expected to take place later today.

A section of the road is closed this morning as forensic tests are carried out, and diversions are in place.

Investigating gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them at Nenagh Garda Station on 067 50450.
