My deepest sympathies. We still dont know the details (its never mentioned due to conservative journalism) but a finger should not be pointed until the facts are clear.
    But.
Another cyclist killed on rural roads. Its where the majority of speeding, wild overtaking and other unnecessary incidents occur. When will local county councils start moving hedgerows and peoples valuable road frontage back for a cycle path? It can be done. The cost for rural cycle paths versus urban (Dublin for example) is much cheaper. If we are given the room then these events will dry up.

@Martin Doherty: Do you want the media to not report on Donegal accidents?

@Fabio Dillon: I didn’t read him saying that. He responded to the pathetic comment that no good news stories come out of Donegal. Read some Donegal press, plenty of good news stories. It is the same with many other counties. Just because the journal and other media don’t bother their collective holes writing about places other than Dublin, Cork and Galway doesn’t mean we don’t have interesting and good news stories from those places, yes places like Donegal you mongrel troll.

I’ll give you a good news story. INTERREG VA has given councils in Derry and Donegal €14m to build the first stretches of North West Greenway Network. By 2022, you’ll be able to cycle between Buncrana and Derry on a segregated path. Is that news good enough for you?
