If you’ve got young kids, you might be considering bringing them along to experience the magic. But what if they have school the next day? It’s only May after all.

One dad in the States, Patrick Pipino, took his 12-year-old daughter Isabelle to a Springsteen gig in Albany on Monday, and sent her to school the next day with the best late note ever.

According to WIVB, Isabelle’s teachers still marked her late, but she thought it was worth it. Her dad said the Boss played well up to midnight, and Isabelle wasn’t in bed until 1am, a far cry from her usual 8.30pm.

Take this as a template and do what you will this summer.

Imagine you had them miss out on THIS just to make it to fecking Irish class?
