Security alert at Dáil Éireann as man blocks main entrance to government buildings

A MAN HAS been arrested after blocking the main security entrance to government buildings in Dublin.

The incident happened at about 9.30am this morning.

It’s understood that the man had entered the main entrance to Government Buildings and refused to leave.

His reasons for doing so are as yet unknown.

“A male, aged 33 years, was arrested for trespassing outside the Department of the Taoiseach at 9.30am,” a Garda spokesperson told TheJournal.ie.

He has been detained at Pearse Street Garda Station.
