The Dart was delayed after a naked man got onto the tracks

He said he had “lost his clothes”

DART SERVICES IN south Dublin were delayed last night after a naked man got on to the tracks.

The homeless man was seen on the tracks between Seapoint and Salthill/Monkstown stations last night at around 7.15pm.

While he was not on the tracks for the whole time, trains were delayed for around 40 minutes.

Gardaí were called to the scene and assisted with the situation.

The Irish Times interviewed the man, who said that he was homeless and had “lost his clothes” while sunbathing.

Trains resumed shortly before 8pm, though there were knock-on delays.
