Some DART delays after truck strikes bridge

Services are expected to be back to normal soon.

SOME DART SERVICES are experiencing delays after a truck struck a bridge in Dublin.

The bridge at Bath Avenue was struck by a truck earlier today, leading to services between Grand Canal Dock and Landsowne Road being put on hold for a time.

They have since resumed, but an Irish Rail spokesperson said delays of between five and 10 minutes are being experienced on some lines.

It is expected that normal service will resume shortly.

Meanwhile, due to a signal fault at Glasnevin, the Maynooth rail services were also affected this morning.
