DART services resume after woman was struck by train

The woman was hit by the train at Clontarf Road station.

THERE WERE DELAYS on the DART line today between Clontarf and Killester after a woman was struck by a train at aproximately 4pm.

The woman was struck by a train travelling north at Clontarf road station and was seriously injured. Emergency services attended the scene and the injured woman was taken to hospital where she is said to be in a serious condition.

Iarnród Éireann state that the lines have now re-opened between Clontarf Rd and Killester with full services resuming,  but with some delays.
