Foul play ruled out in death of man found in Clare car park

The body of the 61-year-old was found in the village of Ballynacally yesterday.

GARDAÍ ARE NO longer treating the death of a man found yesterday in a community centre car park in Clare as suspicious.

Officers in Kilrush launched an investigation yesterday after a the body of the 61-year-old was found outside the centre in Ballynacally.

Tests were carried out at the scene, a witness appeal was put out, and a post-mortem examination was carried out yesterday evening at Limerick Regional Hospital.

Gardaí have now confirmed that foul play has been ruled out. The man is believed to have died of natural causes.

The man’s name is not being released by gardaí.
