Post-mortem taking place after 22-year-old man found dead in Co Waterford

The young man was found in an unresponsive state by walkers yesterday evening.

A POST-MORTEM examination is scheduled to take place today on the body of a 22-year-old man found unresponsive by walkers at Lady’s Cove in Dunmore East, Co Waterford yesterday evening.

He was discovered at around 5pm, and treated at the scene, before being removed by ambulance at around 6.30pm.

The post-mortem is taking place at Waterford General Hospital.

Gardaí say the death is being treated as an accident, and foul play is not suspected.
