Serious collision in Dublin centre causing delays on the canal outbound

The incident involved a collision between a motorcyclist and a larger vehicle.

THERE HAS BEEN a serious crash on the Davitt Road in the centre of Dublin.

The collision is leading to serious delays and a diversion is in place.

Traffic is being diverted at the junction between Davitt Road and the Naas Road.

The crash involved a motorcyclist and a larger vehicle near the Luas stop on Davitt Road. It is not yet known if there are any injuries.

Davitt Road is closed at this time and there is extensive traffic congestion in the area.
