Traffic on M50 easing after southbound incidents cleared

Traffic was heavy all the way back to Ballymun after a crash and breakdown near the Lucan exit.

TRAFFIC IS NOW returning to normal on the M50 southbound after a number of incidents earlier this morning.

There was a breakdown coming up to Junction 7 (Lucan) and a collision after Junction 6 (Blanchardstown).

Emergency services responded to the incidents and they have now been cleared.

Earlier this morning, AA Roadwatch reported that a man was walking in front of traffic on the N2 Dublin-Monaghan Rd between Slane and Ashbourne.
