Boy (11) hospitalised after a petrol bomb was thrown at him

The PSNI are searching for two boys aged around 12 or 13 in relation to the incident.

THE PSNI ARE appealing for witnesses after an 11-year-old boy was struck on the back with a petrol bomb.

The boy was playing in the Iniscarn Crescent area at around 4.45pm this evening when the device was thrown at him.

He has been taken to hospital for treatment to some burn injuries.

It’s believed two boys, described as around 12 or 13-years-old were involved in the incident and police are appealing for them or anyone who can identify them to get in touch on 00 44 845 600 8000.
