4 of a kind: large, detached homes in housing estates

Perfect for anyone looking for privacy with a sense of community.

AN INSTANT SENSE of community is one of the big draws to living in a housing estate for many house hunters. However, whether you choose a terrace, a duplex or a semi-detached home you run the risk of a noisy neighbour or two. If you’re a light sleeper and also want the extra privacy, a detached home is probably the answer.

Still want to have some neighbours? We’ve found four detached homes across the country that are all in friendly housing estates for the perfect balance.
