Suspect device 'ignited' outside house in Tallaght

The device was discovered outside a house at Cushlawn Park, Tallaght, at approximately 3am.

GARDAÍ IN TALLAGHT are investigating an incident where a suspect device was discovered outside a house in Tallaght in the early hours of this morning.

The device was found outside a house at Cushlawn Park, Tallaght, Dublin 24 at approximately 3am.

Gardaí said it is believed the device was ignited and caused damage to the front door of the house. Three people were present in the house at the time, but were not injured.

The remains of the device have been removed for a technical examination and the scene has been preserved.
