One person rescued after domestic fire in Beaumont this evening

In separate incidents, the Dublin Fire Brigade attended a gorse fire in Glencullen, and a tree on fire in Newlands Cross.

FOUR UNITS OF the Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene of a domestic fire in Beaumont, north Dublin, this evening.

A DFB spokesperson confirmed that one person was taken from the home.

It is believed that an ambulance was requested at the scene, and that person will receive further treatment in hospital.

Teams using breathing apparatus swept through the house, worked to extinguish the fire, and prevent it from spreading to adjacent houses.

Units from Kilbarrack, North Strand, as well as Dublin Fire Brigade HQ attended the scene.

In separate incidents this evening, the fire brigade was called to attend the scene of a gorse fire in Glencullen, and a reported tree on fire near Newlands Cross.
