Poll: Did you stay up for the supermoon eclipse last night?

A spate of astronomical phenomenons have graced Ireland in recent months.

STARGAZERS ACROSS IRELAND were treated to spectacular view of the supermoon last night thanks to clear skies.

A ‘supermoon’ occurs when the moon is closest to earth on its orbit and there’s also a full moon in the sky.

For the very early-risers (or night owls), a partial eclipse of the phenomenon was also visible from 3:13am to 4:16am last night.

So today we want to know: Did you stay up for the supermoon eclipse last night?

Poll Results:

No (3106)
No, but I did see the supermoon (1558)
Yes (722)
