Diep at Home takeaway chain to create 40 jobs

The Thai home delivery service opens a new outlet on the Lower Drumcondra Road, and will open another in Dundrum this year.

DUBLIN-BASED TAKEAWAY CHAIN Diep at Home is to create 40 new jobs as part of a new expansion programme, following the opening of a new outlet.

The latest delivery outlet of the chain, which delivers Thai cuisine, opened on the Lower Drumcondra Road on Dublin’s northside yesterday.

The chain will continue expansions with a Dundrum store opening in the coming months.

Diep at Home’s Matthew Farrell said there was “huge passion amongst Irish diners to enjoy authentic Thai food at great prices”, and that the firm was pursuing an aggressive two-year expansion programme to satisfy that demand.

Yesterday’s opening meaning the chain is currently at five outlets before the opening of its Dundrum outlet later this year.

Earlier outlets include the original Diep Le Shaker restaurant on Pembroke Lane, and two takeaway stores in Ranelagh and Blackrock.
