THIS WEEK, A fossil of the largest parrot ever recorded was discovered in New Zealand.
The fossil suggests the animal would have weighed about 7kg and would have been tall enough to reach a standing human’s thigh.
Impressive, but not quite the dinosaur scale we usually think of when we think of fossils.
