Poll: Do you ever call directory enquiries?

The most expensive service can cost over a fiver for a one second call. But when was the last time you needed to use one?

NEW RESEARCH OUT this morning shows the most expensive directory enquiry service in the country costs over €5 for a one second call.

For that matter, the lowest price for a national query is still 60 cent — whether you call them for anything between a second and one minute.

It got us wondering… How often do you find yourself making calls to such services? Isn’t it easier just to find the number on your smartphone?

Poll Results:

Never. (3594)
Only when I can't get on the internet. (883)
It's handy when I'm in a rush. (511)
I call them regularly. (59)
