There is a very small chance that your dishwasher might catch fire.

A NUMBER OF dishwashers are to be repaired in home amid fears that they might catch fire.

BSH Home Appliances Limited has announced an in-home repair programme of certain dishwashers manufactured between 1999 and early 2005 for models purchased and used in the Republic of Ireland.

The affected makes and models include Bosch, Siemens and Neff models made before 2006 and the advice for those with the models is not to call if they have already spoken with someone.

“Please note this is an ongoing repair and you do not need to do not need to call if you’ve already spoken to an advisor.” a radio ad says.

“If your dishwasher is one of the affected models and has not already been fixed then it should not be used until it has been repaired.

“Remember, if you have a Bosch, Siemens or Neffe dishwasher that was manufactured before before 2006 and has not already been repaired please take notice of this action and visit repairaction.ie or call 1800 322 222.”
