Services between Blackhorse and The Point have been suspended since 1.30pm.

Updated 15.03

LUAS SERVICES BETWEEN Blackhorse and Connolly/The Point were suspended for about an hour this afternoon because of an incident on the line between a tram and a car.

The Red Line is now back in service.

Fire services and the Gardaí are attending the scene at Smithfield. There have been no reports of any injuries at this time.

Services between Saggart/Tallaght and Blackhorse are still running. For all other destinations, Luas tickets will be accepted on Dublin Bus services for the duration of the disruption.
