POLICE IN NORTHERN Ireland are currently attending the scene of a security alert on the Doagh Road area of Ballyclare in Co Antrim following the discovery of a number of suspicious devices.

Army technical officers are at the scene and the Chapel and a number of homes have been evacuated.

The Doagh Road has been closed between Ollardale Park and Fairview Farm Road.

There are no further details at present.
