Tweeting dog survives 90-metre plunge into the Atlantic

Vimes is now home recovering from his big day.

A DOG WHO has a Twitter account was rescued after falling into the Atlantic yesterday.

Vimes the dog went off the cliff in Clare yesterday, with the alarm being raised around 3.30pm.

An Irish Coast Guard unit from Kilkee was dispatched and happily was able to rescue Vimes from the water, and he was soon well enough to tweet to thank his rescuers.

He also let people know that he was doing just fine.
