ONE CARING MAN in Texas has done something special for his local area’s abandoned dogs.

Eugene Bostick has been caring for the local animals for the past 30 years, but now has come up with a new innovation.

This involves tying a number of hollowed out barrels to the back of a small grass mower and driving around, taking the local dogs on trips out and about.

The 80-year-old from Fort Worth, Texas, told The Dodo that he had never planned to spend his retirement looking after animals, but that he was happy it had transpired this way.

“Whenever they hear me hooking the tractor up to it, man, they get so excited. They all come running and jump in on their own. They’re ready to go,” he said.
