Man arrested over shooting in Donegal village

The incident happened at around 10.30am on Saturday morning.

A MAN HAS been arrested over a shooting in Donegal at the weekend.

The incident happened at around 10.30am on Saturday morning in the town of Milford in Co Donegal. The 42-year-old victim received non-life threatening injuries.

The man was initially taken to Letterkenny General hospital before being transferred to Galway University Hospital.

Gardaí said that a 46-year-old man was arrested and detained in Milford today, Monday 5 January.
