GARDAÍ STOPPED A driver in Cabra in Dublin last night who was five times over the legal alcohol limit.

The person also had no motor tax or NCT on their vehicle.

A court appearance is expected.

The Garda Press Office said it could not give any more information about the person.

Transport Minister Shane Ross has previously said he is considering a public database of disqualified drivers in a bid to crack down on offences such as drink driving.
