Drive In cinema comes to Dublin

Set the Sat Nav for Dun Laoghaire.

DUBLIN’S FIRST DRIVE In cinema will be launched on St.Patricks Day weekend.

The Drive In will be at Dun Laoghaire and will hold 80 cars.

Underground cinema announced that the opening film will be the musical Grease followed later that evening with Jaws.

Manager of the new Underground cinema Drive In, Paul Ward, said,

We believe that the Drive In cinema will bring lots of people and families to the town over the Bank Holiday weekend. Ticket sales so far have been excellent with people booking from all over the country.

“This essentially means that a lot of people will make going to the Drive In a full day out in the town. It’s good for us and it is good business for Dun Laoghaire.”

The Drive In will be open on 15, 16, 17, 29 and 30 March.

It will be inside the Ferry Terminal and will hold screenings at 7pm and 9pm.
