Liquid amphetamine and cocaine worth €200k seized in Dublin house raids

Three men have been arrested.

GARDAÍ HAVE SEIZED drugs worth around €200,000 following raids in north and west Dublin.

Around 3.75kg of liquid amphetamine (pictured) and 2kgs of cocaine were seized in searches of houses in the Ballybough and Mulhuddart areas yesterday.

The Revenue’s Customs Service, the Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and Garda drug units from Store Street and Blanchardstown were involved in the operation.

Arrests

Three arrests were made in the course of the raids.

Two men (aged 43 and 51) were detained by gardaí from Blanchardstown while a man aged 56 was arrested by gardaí from Store Street.

According to a spokesperson:

All 3 are currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 (as amended) at Blanchardstown and Store Street garda stations.

Investigations are ongoing.
