Pics: Seven arrested and cannabis plants seized in Dublin Garda raid

Cannabis plants worth an estimated €100,000 and a small amount of cocaine were seized after Gardaí carried out raids on twenty premises around Dublin.

SEVEN MEN HAVE been arrested after Gardaí carried out a series of raids as part of an investigation into drug dealing in Dublin.

Twenty premises around Dublin were searched, leading to a seizure of cannabis plants worth an estimated €100,000 as well as a small amount of cocaine.

Gardaí said they were satisfied that the plants were grown in eleven of the premises and that cannabis manufacturing was taking place in nine of the eleven premises.

The seven men arrested are being held at garda stations around the county, including Clondalkin, Blanchardstown, Donnybrook, the Bridewell, and Bray Garda Station in Wicklow.

All are being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

Gardaí said the investigation into drug dealing is continuing.
