Man due in court over massive €3.8 million drug seizure

Gardaí said it was too early in the investigation to speculate on who the drugs may be linked to.

A MAN IN his 30s will appear before a court today charged with a massive drug seizure on Thursday.

The man was arrested after gardaí found 160kgs of suspected cannabis herb, around 30kgs of suspected cocaine, and 2.5kgs of suspected cannabis resin at a house in Stamullen, County Meath.

Gardaí said it was too early in the investigation to speculate on who the drugs may be linked to.

He is scheduled to appear before at the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.
