Man arrested after drugs worth €40,000 found in Mayo house

Thirty cannabis plants were discovered at the house near Bangor Erris.

GARDAÍ HAVE SEIZED €40,000 worth of drugs during a raid of a house in Mayo.

A man in his 20s was arrested after the bust.

Thirty cannabis plants were discovered at the house near Bangor Erris this morning.

Gardaí also found a large drying chamber, fertiliser and liquid feed.

The man is now being held at Belmullet Garda station.
