Man in his 50s among two arrested after cannabis found in Cork house

The drugs are worth €110,000.

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested after over five kilos of cannabis was found at a house in Cork.

Gardaí from the Cork Divisional Drug Unit seized with a street value of €110,000 and arrested two men in Douglas, Cork. The seizure was made on foot of a planned search at a house in Cogan’s Cottages, Ballinlough Road, Douglas on the afternoon.

The two men (one in his late 50s, one who is 30) were arrested at the scene and are currently detained at Anglesea St Garda station under Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.
