Man busted in Dublin with four rucksacks and 11kg of cocaine

The 25-year-old was nabbed after arriving in Dublin on a flight from Paris.

A 25-YEAR-OLD man has been busted in Dublin with more than 11kg of cocaine.

Yesterday, while conducting a routine profiling, officials at the airport searched his suitcase which turned up four apparently empty rucksacks.

Further investigation revealed that each of them had the drugs concealed in its back panel.

In total the stash is thought to be valued in excess of €750,000.

The passenger was arrested at the scene by An Garda Síochána and brought to Ballymun Garda Station.

He appeared in court earlier this morning charged with the sale, supply and importation of drugs and has been remanded in custody for one week.
