Man charged after this grow house was discovered in Kildare

€700,000 worth of cannabis plants and herb drugs were found at a grow house.

A 43-YEAR-OLD man has been charged after €700,000 worth of cannabis plants and herb drugs were found at a grow house in Kildare on Monday night.

He is due to appear before Naas District Court at 10.30am today.

The seizure was made following the planned search of a premises in the Ardscull area of Athy.

A fully functioning ‘grow house’ was discovered and a number of items of drug cultivation paraphernalia were seized.

The man was arrested yesterday morning in the Athy area.
