Man in his 40s arrested after heroin, cocaine and €80,000 in cash found in house

The drugs had an estimated value of €200,000.

A MAN IN his early 40s was arrested last night after heroin, cocaine and cash was found during the search of a house in Dublin.

The planned search of a house in the Glenshane area of Tallaght happened at around 10pm last night.

Cocaine with an estimated street value of €150,000 and heroin with an estimated street value of €50,000 was seized, gardaí also found €80,000 in cash.

The man who was arrested at the scene and is currently being held at Tallaght Garda Station.

Gardai from the Tallaght Drugs Unit, Detective Unit and the DMR South Task Force carried out the operation.

The search was part of a planned operation targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Dublin area.
