Two arrested after €300,000 of heroin, cocaine and cannabis seized

The assorted drugs were discovered in two premises.

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested after €300,000 worth of heroin, cocaine and cannabis were seized in Dublin’s south inner city.

Gardaí from the Dublin Metropolitan Region’s south central division, along with members of the Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, Special Detective Unit and officers from the Criminal Assets Bureau carried out a number of planned searches within the Kevin Street region this morning.

The assorted drugs were discovered in two premises, one on York Street and the other in the Mount Browne area.

Two men, one aged 22 and one in his mid 40s, have been arrested and are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice, (Drug Trafficking), Act, 1996 at Kevin Street and Kilmainham Garda Stations.
