Two arrested after €50,000 worth of heroin found in house raid

The two men can be questioned for up to a week.

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested and €50,000 worth of heroin was seized in Limerick last night.

The men aged 40 and 43 were arrested when armed gardai raided a house in St Mary’s Park.

The men are being held at Henry Street and Mayorstone Garda Stations and they can be questioned for up to a week.

Gardaí say the investigation was part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime in the Limerick area.
