Three men arrested and €300k worth of heroin seized in Ballyfermot

Two of the men remain in custody, while another has been released.

GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED three men and seized a quantity of heroin after conducting a search of an area in Ballyfermot yesterday evening.

The search was carried out by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.

The heroin seized has an estimated street value of €300,000.

The men arrested were aged 34, 30 and 25. The older men remain in custody at Ballyfermot and Clondalkin Garda Stations, while the youngest man has been released.

In a statement, the gardaí added that a file is set to be prepared by the Director of Public Prosecutions.
