A man was arrested as part of major investigation into drug-dealing in Ballymun.

COCAINE AND TABLETS worth an estimated €83,000 have been seized after gardaí stopped and searched a man in Dublin today.

The man was arrested in Ballymun as part of a major investigation into drug-dealing in the area. Gardaí found the drugs after searching several vehicles as part of the operation.

“These operations use advanced analytical and intelligence methods to disrupt criminals and dismantle their networks,” a spokesperson for the gardaí said.

“Drug seizures play a critical role in targeting the livelihood of criminals and reducing their ability to carry out illegal activities. Drug seizures also help protect communities from the devastating impact of drugs and the associated criminality”.

Three vehicles were seized during the operation.

The man, who is in his 30s, is being held at Ballymun garda station for questioning.
