Over €110k worth of cannabis discovered in Tallaght

A man and woman are in custody at Rathfarnham Garda station.

THE GARDAÍ SEIZED a large quantity of cannabis resin in Tallaght this morning.

As part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the area gardai conducted a planned search of a house in Donomore Avenue at approximately 7.45am this morning.

During the course of the search, cannabis resin with an estimated street value of up to €111,000, along with other items of stolen property, were seized.

A man, aged 41-years-old and a 37 -year-old woman were arrested at the scene and are currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Rathfarnham Garda station.
