Drunk driver arrested after crashing while approaching garda checkpoint

Two people were arrested in the Thor Operation checkpoint.

A DRUNK DRIVER has been arrested after crashing while approaching a garda checkpoint.

The incident happened in Limerick last night.

Gardaí also posted photos of notes that were put on disk holders in a number cars.

One read “Insurance disk in the post”, while another said, “Car just purchased, waiting on documents”.

Two people were arrested in the Thor Operation checkpoint at Mayorstone and Henry Street.
