DUBLIN AIRPORT HAS been busy this week with people heading home and away for Christmas.

But today, the airport is at rest.

Paul Kolbe was in a helicopter flying past today when he took this photo of the airport in a moment of complete stillness.

No planes are scheduled to arrive or depart today from the capital’s airport. Flights begin arriving again tomorrow at 4.40am and departures start again at 6am.
