Passengers evacuated at Dublin airport amid fire at Burger King

Black smoke coming from the restaurant triggered the alarm.

A FIRE AT Burger King at Dublin Airport has caused an evacuation of passengers in Terminal 1 this evening.

A spokesperson for the Dublin Airport Authority said the public was evacuated “as a precaution” after black smoke began emerging from the Burger King restaurant at around 7pm.

One passenger told TheJournal.ie that alarms started ringing throughout the dining and cafe area of Terminal 1, and staff then escorted the public outside.
