Man critical after motorbike collides with Dublin Bus

The driver of the bus was uninjured.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a motorbike and a Dublin Bus that left a man critically injured.

The crash occurred shortly after 1am at Constitution Hill near Kings Inn. A 25-year-old man was seriously injured when his motorcycle collided with a bus.

He was treated at the scene by emergency services personnel and taken by ambulance to the Mater Hospital. His condition is understood to be serious. The driver of the bus, a man in his late 40s, was uninjured and there were no passengers on the bus at the time of the incident.

Garda forensic collision investigators have examined the scene and the road has since reopened.

Investigating gardaí at the Bridewell are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
