Dublin Fire Brigade also warned about never being too sure that a fire is out.

If you don’t, this cautionary tale from Dublin Fire Brigade might show you why it’s an important thing to do.

DFB shared the story of this incident on Twitter this morning, saying that an open door enabled a fire to travel from outside a house in Phibsboro.

A local told TheJournal.ie that the car was set alight, and the fire travelled inside the house next to it.

DFB also shared a warning from Dolphin’s Barn firefighters showing how it is important to never assume a fire is out:
