One person hospitalised after collision between car and Luas

The incident happened shortly after 5pm yesterday evening.

THE DRIVER OF a Luas was hospitalised yesterday evening after a collision with a car.

The woman was taken to hospital as a precaution and is understood not to be suffering from serious injuries.

The incident saw one car colliding with the Luas on Parkgate Street at around 5.15pm yesterday evening.

The incident resulted in lengthy delays of over an hour on the Luas Red Line.
