This €2.5m Dublin estate includes a manor, stables and 27 acres of land

Plus a two-bedroom gate lodge bigger than most city centre apartments.

SEAFIELD MANOR MAY look as though it has been around for centuries, but the gorgeous Dublin home was actually built in 1993.

With five huge bedrooms, views of the Malahide Estuary, and 27 acres of land, the €2.5m price tag certainly does get you a lot here.

Let’s start inside the manor, to begin with. The reception rooms are beautifully designed, with ornate fireplaces that reflect the period style of the home.

The drawing room is particularly nice, with a dual aspect to the front gardens and the Malahide Estuary, making this room a lovely space to relax in.

Seafield Manor’s warm, inviting feel continues in the kitchen, a family-friendly space that offsets the other more formal rooms nicely.

Timber beams and exposed brick add style, and there are plenty of high end features, too, from an Aga to a Belfast sink and granite worktops.

The estate’s vast private gardens can be accessed from the reception room, and elsewhere on the ground floor you’ll find a home office that overlooks the front garden, for distractingly nice views while you work.

This large room would work equally well as a playroom, if desired.

All five bedrooms are located upstairs; all are large, but the master bedroom suite steals the show, with beautiful views of the gardens and river, and a walk-in dressing room.

It also has access to an en-suite bathroom, as does another one of the bedrooms.

Outside, Seafield Manor is a testament to the owners’ love of horses.

Much of the 27 acres is devoted to equestrian pursuits, from horse boxes to paddocks, though these are ripe for conversion if the new owners desire.

Elsewhere, there’s a south-facing garden, walled vegetable plot, and two-bedroom gate lodge with its own kitchen, parking and garden. The lodge itself is bigger than most Dublin apartments, and perfect for guests.

The manor’s location is great, too. Dublin city centre is 30 minutes away by car, and the airport just 15.

The nearby village of Donabate is quiet but friendly, and has a host of amenities, including schools, shops and restaurants.

Seafield Manor, Seafield, Donabate, Co Dublin is on sale for €2,500,000 from Sherry FitzGerald Country Homes, Farms & Estates via Daft.ie.
