Price comparison: What properties are on offer in Dublin for under €600k?

From a duplex in Malahide to a three-bed house in Rathfarnham.

GETTING YOUR HEAD around the changing property market can be difficult, so that’s why we’re here to make things a little easier.

Each week, we cherry pick a number of homes within a similar budget, to give you the best idea of the property landscape at a particular price point.

This week, we’re looking at properties in Co Dublin, which will leave you change from €600,000.

Three-bed, semi-detached, Rathfarnham – €585,000

A three-bed family home with an extension to the back, 29 Beaufort Downs spans 108 m² and is in great nick throughout. Inside comprises a long hallway that leads to the bright living room and then the kitchen and dining area. There’s also another lounge to the back of the house, a shower room and a store room. All of the bedrooms upstairs have fitted wardrobes and share the family bathroom.

The house sits next to Loreto Beaufort school, so Nutgrove and Rathfarnham shopping centres are nearby, as are all the transport links needed to get to the city centre. The lovely grounds of Rathfarnham Castle are also just a short walk away.

Three-bed, duplex, Malahide – €525,000

No.92 Castleheath in Malahide is a two storey duplex that provides a nice mix of house and apartment living at 119 m² in size. Three-bed, semi-detached, Kinsealy – €450,000

15 Baskin Cottages may look small and quaint from the outside but its space may surprise you. The 131 m² bungalow that dates to the 1940s comprises a dedicated home office and a main bedroom that is en suite along with a generously-sized living room, open plan kitchen and dining room and a large family bathroom. There’s also the luxury of a dedicated utility room, with lots of storage, adjacent to the kitchen. Outside, the patio is west-facing, so it gets plenty of sun. Plenty of parking to the front and well-kept lawns make this an ideal family home.

The area of Kinsealy is close to everything on the north side of Dublin – Malahide, Swords and Portmarnock are all just short journeys away meaning plenty of choice when it comes to beaches, links to town and everyday amenities.
