Man arrested over shots fired in Hutch-Kinahan feud

On 2 September 2016, a number of shots were fired into a home at Drumalee Park, Dublin 7.

GARDAÍ AT Bridewell station have arrested a man in his 3os in relation to a shooting incident on Dublin’s north side last September.

On the afternoon of 2 September 2016, a number of shots were fired at a house in Drumalee Park, just off the North Circular Road in Dublin 7.

A man was said to have been approached by another man carrying a gun. The first man fled into his back garden and into a house, when a number of shots were fired.

He was uninjured, and the man who had fired the gun fled the scene in a car.

A burning car was recovered a short time later at Regal Park, just off Blackhorse Avenue, around 1km away.

It is believed that the home is owned by an acquaintance of the Hutch family.

An unarmed garda was just 100 metres away at the time of the shooting.

The man in his 30s is currently being detained at Bridewell Garda Station.

Investigations are ongoing.
